____ looked at Feyn and smiled fondly. The man had remained true to his word and was still by Evien's side. Though he was sure Kamahn wouldn't have expected Feyn to be sleeping through his vigil. He reached down to brush Feyn's hair off his face and paused.
With another smile, he gently shook Feyn awake.
"Mmm?" Feyn opened his eyes slightly. "I wasn't sleeping," he mumbled.
"Your presence is no longer needed."
Feyn turned his head to the side where the cats were and his eyes widened. With a grin, he was up on his feet and heading towards the door.
"That's a relief. I didn't want to enjoy another night on the floor."
"Do you think your theory is right?" ____ asked.
"I'll find out," Feyn grinned. "Though I'm sure I'm right. They're both too similar, and they tend to react the same, if in opposite directions."
Feyn stopped before Kamahn and Khamiel's room. "I'll let them know."
____ nodded. "Tell them not to disturb them."
"Right." Feyn made a face. "Of course I'll be telling them you said that. Just in case they think I'm being the 'mean bastard of a Feyn who won't let them see their friends'."
____ shrugged. "You're the one who started the rift."
"Don't remind me."
Feyn sighed and opened the door.
"HEY!!" He shouted, any thoughts of being nice gone. "What are you doing, Khamiel!?"
"Go away!"
____ shook his head slightly as he continued on to his room.
