Feyn: | That had been highly stupid of you. |
Seph: | Hell, that's a nice greeting. |
Feyn: | You shouldn't have let Kamahn sit with Evien like that without some protection. |
Seph: | Protection? O_o |
Feyn: | Idiot! The boy is sensitive beyond words. He's almost driven to the despair Evien's at! |
Seph: | Hey! How was I to know? He and Ferrahn had managed to go through the night with his moaning in their heads fine. I thought he could handle it. And even if I had known, what was I supposed to do? |
Feyn: | You should have told me a lot sooner. |
Seph: | . . . Like I thought about you the moment things had happened. You and ____ are like the bystanders. You don't live with us. Your presence isn't something we look for when we're in trouble. |
Feyn: | . . . I know. Damn it. Fine. We'll try to...mingle more. |
Seph: | Jeez. |
Feyn: | *sigh* Khamiel will wake up soon enough, and then I'm going to have more of a headache. |
Seph: | My sympathies. |
Feyn: | Don't get all sarcastic on me. |
Seph: | *sigh* So how are things? |
Feyn: | Like you saw, Evien's still clutching Luthien's shell as if that would link his twin to him, and my head is starting to pound with his cries. |
Seph: | *wince* Do you think he'll try to look for Luthien? |
Feyn: | I doubt it. Or at least it's not occured to him yet. Or maybe it has and he thinks there'll be a better chance of Luthien finding him if he stays where he is. |
Seph: | This is so messed up. *sigh* |
Feyn: | No indication that Luthien was going to do this? |
Seph: | None at all. That's what makes it harder to believe, I guess. |
Feyn: | We'll keep Evien here for the time being. At least we can tone done his cries. |
Seph: | Thanks. The others are upset enough as it is. |
Feyn: | I'm not usually the good samaritan when I have a choice. |
Seph: | I know, I know. *grin* I'm going to be optimistic and hope this blows over soon. Luthien will come back soon! |
Feyn: | Oh, I'm sure that as soon as he realises that he's lost his other half, he'll come running back. |
Seph: | . . . I dunno. Silren and Razkil were talking about how Evien seemed more 'whole' without Luthien. |
Feyn: | *raises an eyebrow* If that's whole, he wouldn't be calling out for Luthien. He shouts and wails rather distractingly, if you don't know. |
Seph: | . . . I hear moans. |
Feyn: | . . . Interestingly, Kamahn hears screams from him. |
Seph: | Screams? |
Feyn: | Yes. And ____ hears an unending wail. |
Seph: | . . . I think I'm grateful for my moans. |
Feyn: | You should be. *sigh* |
Seph: | . . . so where's Kamahn? |
Feyn: | Asleep, I'd think. He's terrified. |
Seph: | *wince* |
Feyn: | It really wasn't a good idea to leave him with Evien like that. |
Seph: | I didn't know. |
Feyn: | He looked ready to kill himself when I went to pick him up. |
Seph: | Are you trying to guilt me a lot more? I already feel bad. |
Feyn: | Sorry. I'm trying to lessen my own guilt. |
Seph: | *sigh* |
Feyn: | Don't worry about the boy though. He's had his cry and ____'s taking care of him. |
Seph: | That's good. |
Feyn: | You want to know what happened when I brought them home? |
Seph: | Admittedly, I do. It's not often we hear of Kamahn breaking down. |
Feyn: | I try not to let it happen too often. |
Seph: | *grin* I know. |
Feyn: | Of course, you won't tell him I told you. |
Seph: | Of course. But he'll know anyway. |
Feyn: | Of course. The damn brat. |
